Once a year the Davie Historical Society and the Old Davie School Historical Museum host a dinner honoring early Davie Pioneer families. Two to three families are recognized each year. The evening begins with a meal complete with recipies from the cookbooks put out by the Old Davie School. Dinner is followed by family introductions and family history video presentations. All proceeds from the event are used for educational programs and projects at the Old Davie School Historical Museum.
