Tack up the mistletoe and trim up the tree! Santa is on his way with lots of goodies for children at the Old Davie School Historical Museum. Sunday, December 6, 2009 is the date set for the 8th Annual Old Davie Christmas. From 12-3 P.M. kids will have the opportunity to visit and have their picture taken with Santa, go for pony rides, enjoy a petting zoo, have a tasty lunch, and play lots of old fashioned games on the front lawn. This fun filled day is made possible by the efforts of the Davie Historical Society. For more information or to volunteer or contribute financially, please call the Davie School Foundation staff at 954-797-1044.

In the early days of Davie, Santa would arrive in different ways each year and pass out goodies to all the children of the community and everyone would sing carols and have a good time together.

Santa and his Misses will arrive by antique car at the Old Davie School to meet the children of Davie and hear their Christmas wishes.

The Davie Historical Society Committee, the Board of Trustees of the Davie School Foundation and the staff encourage you and your families to join us for this special event
