 Old Davie School History Video

The weekend of March 8th & 9th marked the 90th Anniversary of the Old Davie School. An unparalleled celebration was held on the grounds of the school. Highlights included a rededication of the schoolhouse, and dedications of the tow historic homes, the Walsh-Osterhoudt and Viele Houses. Both were built in 1912 and moved to the Old Davie School Historic Village on 2004. A two-acre piece of property on the east side of the village was recently acquired and dedicated during the celebration. This property was purchased by the Town of Davie and Broward County through the Open Space Initiative and will be developed to include an orange packing building, picnic area and lake.
